In the middle of my month long trip across the UK, with a backpack, and after walking many miles, climbing many towers, and sleeping in a variety of not so great beds, my body was crying for some much needed work. Being an HHP and bodyworker myself, and a former instructor of anatomy at IPSB in San Diego, California, I know what constitutes a knowledgeable and trained therapist. Mattie’s impressive background immediately caught my attention and set him apart from the others I researched. During our session, his attention to my body’s troubled areas and his specificity to each muscle group, indeed to individual muscles…well, words fail me. I’d never been so connected with what a therapist was doing during a bodywork session, and I’ve had many – from experts in the field. A few days after our session, once the soreness had dissipated (yes, it was a serious muscle workout, and there were numerous releases), my body feels better than it did before I began my trip! I am immensely grateful that I found him and feel privileged to have experienced his touch.
